Does it it do it with the tank full? If it only does when the tank is half full or less then you may have a problem similar to my experience. The short piece of hose that goes from the fuel pump to the bottom of the tank had a crack. When the tank was full it sucked gas through the crack - when it was closer to empty it sucked air. Same symptoms, accelerating through a turn resulted in little power because it was sucking air.
