This may not help, since I live in the U.S., but I use a generic 5 year warranty battery sold by Wal-mart in my Volvo and Saab. It cost only $29 US, while name brand and Saab dealer supplied batteries are going for $80 to $100. The generic battery proved to be better than the Sears DieHard at almost 3 times the price. The only criteria you have to match are size, minimum cold cranking amperage and matching terminal position/type. amar wrote: > Hello > > The battery on my 1992 900S looks like its on the way out (i've > recently had to jump start my car for the second time within 3 weeks). > Can anyone recommend a replacement battery (or are they all the same - > would a bog standard one from Halfords do??) and how much can i expect > to pay > > Just to let you know i'm writing from the UK and have a black 900S > Aero Turbo with 166,000 miles on the clock. > > Thanks, > > AMAR
