Are you sure the Mazda 6 will be offered as a hatch model in the US? The mazdausa web site only talks about it as a 5 passenger, 4 door sedan. Mazda hasn't offered a hatchback in the US for nearly 10 years. At one time they had the 323 hatchback and the 626 "Touring Sedan" hatchback. The closest thing they have now is the Protoge5, a station wagon replacement for the 323. Walt Kienzle
