I wasn't sure about the Focus because the hatchback wasn't available when the Focus was first introduced. There used to be a Chevy Corsica hatchback that was about as large as a 9000 on the outside, but not as spacious on the inside. That body style was discontinued in the early 1990's, even before the rest of the Corsica line was axed. There was a Nova variant called the Concours, but that was just a luxo version of the Nova that was available in all body styles. A Nova SS also existed. I think many of them were hatchbacks. Chrysler also had a hatchback about the size of the 9000 in the early '80s: Plymouth Caravelle, Dodge 600 and Chrysler LeBaron. It had some additional designation, because there was also a full size RWD LeBaron, and a 2dr Coupe LeBaron. It seemed that everything at Chrysler except the minivans were LeBarons. All the large hatchbacks are long gone from the US market.:-( Walt Kienzle "KeithG" <noonenopsamspring.com> wrote in message news:ap48u7$6bf$1nopsam.atl.mindspring.net... > The Focus is available in the US in 5 dr and 3 dr hatch variants.
