Subject: Saab 9-3, strange sound at 2200 rpm



Hi, I have a 1999 Saab 9-3 turbo.When the engine reaches 2200 rpm a strange
sound apears and it carries on untill the rpm are below 2200 again. This
happens in all gears (even in neutral). It almost sounds like a small
electric engine. Does anybody know what this can be?
