If he means gas struts, I don't know of any "good cheap" struts. I was told by a trusted Saab technician the inexpensive models only last a couple years, while the originals lasted 10 to 15 years. The inexpensive models I saw were only 1/2 the price and would only be cost effective if you were going to keep the car for 1 to 2 years. Try finding used originals in good condition at a bone yard.
