Now they could be body and structurally perfect, but mechanically disasterous, but the pricing isn't that rare. I bought my Current Skdoa Favorit for £80, because it looked a little shabby, and needed a new windscreen and was on the way to needing a clutch (both fitted for £230). Had six months MOT, and passed the next one without bother except emissions, which it flew through after a service and adjust. My Previous Skoda Estelle Cost me £95, with one weeks MOT, but passed straight away, except for a 2" patch to one sill, and the emissions adjustment (car had been stood for nearly a year, only covering 1000 miels between MOTs) have a look on http://www.autotrader.co.uk and search on the postcode and pick a northwest UK postcode for an example of what I've been seeing. The prices seem incredible (although close to xmas people think of selling off old cars, to either fund Xmas, to to get something better for the winter). -- Carl Robson http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
