My 9000 not yet has this problem but having read so much discussion about this issue in http://www.saabnet.com, I can say you need to check 2 things: valve springs and governor seals. For details, pls log on to the above site and search the archive. Warning: They say on that site that if left uncured, each slip knocks off bits of metal in the gearbox, further exacerbating the problem until eventually the whole transmission needs to be replaced. So early repair is advised as it could save the gearbox.
