I just pulled up a comparison of the 1999-2002 9-5's on the JD Power site, and it looks as though the 2002 model year has fallen down quite a bit from the 2001. But the 1999 -- which I assume you have since you said you'd had it 4 years -- is actually rated higher than any other year in Initial Ratings, other than 2001 beating it in "Mechanical Quality." It is a bit lower than 2001 for Midterm Ratings, though. Sounds like you got a real lemon! Gary
