Thanks for you all your recommendations. I didnt use WD40 because its been my experience that seems to attract dirt after time. I used a 3M "TFE" Lube (tetraflouroethylene) its a sprayable 'dry' lube, on the label it says its recommended for locks, so we shall see. Just incase it helps anyone in the future, I never noticed the passenger door lock not working and on the drivers door the problem was intermittant but getting worse. I do think it is a dirt issue, both within the lock & on the key, I gave a close look to the key & had to clean it w/ a tooth brush, some gunk and collected in the corners between the teeth & the side and seemed to have solidified over time.
