The exact same happened to me on my 9000. When I floored it, it would cut out briefly and then come back, etc. It was a faulty BPC valve. They cost £122.75 new but you can do a temporary fix in most cases or buy a second hand one. Most main dealers should give you 15% off with Saab service club. To do a temporary fix, take the hoses of the BPC valve and lubricate it with WD40.
