Interesting that you are having a similar level of problems with 1998 model like mine. My problems to date include: -Faulty SID (took 4 visits to dealer to identify) -Fault with fuel indicator -Blown ignition timing unit (quite spectacular amounts of smoke) -The usual headlamp bulb usage rates (which my dealer still hasn't resolved) -Fog (driving) lights dropping off -Battery going dead after only 5K miles -Washer pump burning out -Leak to the cooling system -There others that I actually struggle to remember Most of these problems are electrical - like you I purchased an extended warranty and am really, really glad I did. Clearly, the 1998 model was/is full of bugs. The problem I have is that on any given morning I have no confidence that the 9-5 will get me through the day! No ideas on the Audio error codes then anyone? /John
