well, the saab man today says its a head gasket job and that cylinder #1 is definately "losing pressure", this is after I took it in for hard starting problems. also a ballpark of NZ$1500 to fix (bout $750US) which is great just before Christmas this doesn't seem right to me (drove the car home OK) and was told not to put too many km's on the car. I haven't noticed any decrease in power or smoke on startup. The oil seems clean on the dipstick and no sign of oil in the coolant. No check engine light that i can see. I'd like to take it for a second opinion somewhere else, what do you guys recommend/think? cheers, John 96 9000 CS 2.3 LPT 157,000km
