Can only hear it from the engine bay, and not from the cockpit. Sounds about right. At that age/mileage, the chain is the least of your worries. Look at the tensioner, and measure it's extension. IIRC 11mm is the max spec (although I've had cars that ran fine with more than that). -- Grunff
