Another note on Green Diamond Tires. I was skeptical of them at first but figured the price was good enough to give them a try. So far, now a good month into winter here in central new hampshire with 4 or 5 sonwstorms and a good amount of hard packed snow on the many unpaved roads i regularly travel, I am amazed. The tires are quiet, they perform excellently on the interestates in dry weather and are the best I ahve ever had short of studs on snow and ice. I have experienced virtually no slippage on snow and very very little on ice. this includes traveling on hard packed snow at speeds of 25-35 mph and all stops on snow and ice. I am a convert.
