The classic is definitely the better car. The rear seat folds flat. My golden retriever has a very difficult time on the sloping rear seat of my NG900. I took a test drive in the 2003 900 and the folding position of its rear seat is even worse. Repair costs are much, much higher with the NG900. This morning the SID reports transmission and engine faults. Wonder how much this bill will be? Looks like SAAB is pushing me to go with an AUDI. /Bob
