Indeed. When I first bought my current 900, I had a vibration that increased with speed, becoming especially apparent at around 70mph+. After asking on this group, the first thing I did was rotate and rebalance, which didn't make much difference. I had it done again later by a different garage while it was in for something else, and again, no difference. Then I changed the front tyres, that helped a bit, but not much. I was starting to suspect all sorts of things, but it's been absolutely fine since I finally got rid of the last two original tyres... I couldn't actually _see_ anything wrong with them, either -- no apparent uneven wear. But since then, I haven't had any vibration at all. Might be worth just trying junking them and seeing if it makes any difference, before you start taking the car apart...
