Just like the old Saab engineblocks are a british (Triumph, to be more specific) design, but Opel has a good name for making reliable engines as well, as long as they're not diesels, which are not particularly good. But it's quite different for the rest, Saab just used the base block and designed a different engine, i hear rumours the Vauxhall/Opel Vectra GTS uses a Saab developed engine, but i'm not sure about that. No one can tell how reliable it will be, since it is brand new. But i expect the engineers to do a good job, they have a reputation to loose. -- Greetings, Bart
