Enjoy. That's good advice "J". Life is too short and Saab make a quality marque with all the gadgets you're ever likely to have time to play around with while driving and a fun sporty feel to them. BMW and Mercedes over here in the UK are very commonplace and the new Jag is just awful IMO (now an 80s XJS well that's a different matter, but we're talking about new cars). My experience of both BWM and Mercedes is that they are fast and powerful, but just don't feel sporty. They're big lumps that need long, straight and fast roads - Saabs feel like they want to find some bends to play with. I think there is a "little something" about the front end of a Saab and the overall shape is sleek, even for the sedans. That front end has been with Saab for about 20 years now and it shows that their designers still think it is right. I don't like the estate models though, because it looks like a sedan with a bit added onto it. Volvo are about the only manufacturer I have seen that does estates properly, so much so that their sedans look odd :) I'm dreaming here, but if I had the kind of money we're talking about here and had to buy a 30,000 UKP car, it would definitely be the Saab and while I would have gone for the 9-5, the new 9-3 sedan is a new contender.
