I have an '85 900 8V. All the screws that I've had to take out are Phillips. As I recall, I had to remove one screw from the trim piece around the headlight and pull that edge forward (the other side locks in behind the grill). There are four screws holding the metal around the headlight. I only had to remove 2 of them to replace my lamp. If the screws are hex, you'll need the right size of nutdriver. If they're star, then you'll need a Torx. Both are available at your parts store. -- Christian On 8 Jan 2003 12:19:52 -0800, markcmuellernopsamo.com (Mark Mueller) wrote: >Since I can't find anything about this on the net, I assume it's >pretty obvious to everyone else, but how do I change a headlight on a >1986 Saab 900S?
