Thanks for the response. Good to know it's not just me. I haven't been able to find any mention of this problem in any of the places I know of to look...would you remember where you'd seen it? I *did* find a few mentions of an internal battery getting old and leaking onto the circuit board. I'm going to check mine...I'll post what I find if there's interest.
