Also, does the radio stay on when you take out the key? If so, a quick fix is to pull out the key very quickly, or to put it back in and pull it out really fast. That usually works, but you do need to have the cylinder cleaned. A quick spray of circuit board cleaner (no residue cleaning spray) should do the trick - don't use WD40 or anything like that - it might work initially but leaves a film of oil that will attract dust that will make it worse later. When it happened to my Saab, I just took it to the dealer and had it fixed under warranty, so I can't tell you what they did, but it happened 3 years ago and hasn't happened again since. --=20 Regards, Peter Wilkins
