Hello Andy, I had a problem with my 94 9000 CSE, and found the problem to be in the upper 3rd brake light. There is four small bulbs, I had two bulbs burnt out and one with a crack(very dim).I was hard to tell with the lens cover on. On the top of the light cover (black part) remove the two torx bit screws and lift strait up, the lens is part of the black cover. In side disconnect the two wires and remove the bulb holder for cleaning of the brass strip on the board. also you can bent out slightly the tabs on each bulb socket for better contact,I recommend replacing the four bulbs while its apart, sorry I can't remember what the bulb number was I think it was like (5WD) bought them at WAL-MART.
