Saab 9000CS, 2.0 Light Pressure Turbo, MY95. From cold start, engine warms up in the usual way. Temp needle on dashboard gets to halfway between blue and red on suburban road. But once on highway, the temp needle dips slightly. Seems the rush of cool air on the radiator at highway speed causes this. No effect on engine performance noted. However is this a sign that parts of the cooling system, such as the thermostat, are faulty?
