I'm now unable to shift into reverse or 5th gear on my '94 900. Had prevous problem with not being able to shift into 1st gear and it was repaired which lasted about 8 months. I also had a one time problem of not being able to insert ignition key because I couldn't shift into any gear. Until I take it to the shop, is this a serious problem with the transmission or might it be just a simple linkage repair?
