This is turning into a 12-step group. Hi, my name is George and I'm a Saabaholic. I naively got a 88 9000S 5spd without checking history. 2 days later the master cylinder went. The ACC didn't work. Next the stick shifter practically came off in my hand. Then the engine started knocking and I made the mistake of taking it to some asshole who totally destroyed it. After that traumatic experience I craved reliability so I got an Acura Integra. Completely reliable, completely boring, too small. I guess I need the thrill of an occassional breakdown. Aside from the reliability issues the 9000 fits me perfectly. Not too big, not too small; lots of room, a touch of luxury, nice ride, turbo's fast enough, safe, good gas mileage and CHEAP. So I got a 93 9000CSET this time with a history and thorough inspection. No problems except the infamous ACC. Once I fix the heated seats I'll be sittin' pretty, so to speak.
