Hmm, sounds like you may still have a leak somewhere. Do yourself a big favour - go to a good motor factor (or even Halford$) and get a Gunson Hi/Low gauge. This is a pressure/vac gauge, which is sooo useful for lots of car stuff. Hook it up to the inlet manifold (with the gauge in the car) and go for a spin. Find a nice hill, and accelerate up it in 3rd. Note the maximum pressure. You car can easily, without breaking a sweat, push 12psi. To achieve this, first sort out all leaks + your ignition system. Then, you may need to set the base boost if it's been messed with (and they usually have at this age). -- Grunff
