Subject: Brake Rotor's Wear More Towards Center - Normal or Abnormal ???

I'm a 2000 Saturn LW2 Wagon owner and I find that much of my car is Saab (brakes, trans, and more). It needed rotors and pads at 39k-miles..... yikes! The reason, the rotors wear deeper toward the hub and lighter towards the edges. Is this the way it is on any Saabs? Or is the Saturn dealer feeding me a bunch of BS ??? Eric Wayne, PA PS - Other than a poor steering pump design and this brake thing - the car is a winner.
