an (ongoing) aside... does anyone have a grasp on why it is that so many Saabs have problems with sagging headliners? obviously not a rocket science issue, so it seems, i can't wrap my brain around how the Swedes, with their seemingly infinite practicality (and, often, joie de vivre), haven't solved the headliner glue problem. or have they? as a psychologist by training and inclination, I have to grasp at the archetypal for hypothesis on this... thoughts, knowledge, obversations? i got one now... have also, fortuantely, been let in on the greatness of Saab's engineering in it's many other ways while restoring a friends 89 turbo 16v. altho' at first i am reminded of getting dressed with left leg first for the first time, the initial awkwardness of putting key in console, etc., turns out to be soooo worth it. what a combination -- the eager 160 turbocharged horses harnessed with the most stout and accurate handling package so far. notes from the front?
