Sure, some of us modify our cars and have a little fun, but mostly we're a mature and reserved group. You'll even notice that there's little off-topic posting here and much, much less outright argument than in most Usenet newsgroups. Welcome to the civilized world. > There are no crash-test ratings on any of the North >American sites, only on the euro ones. I can't comment on those specifics... perhaps they have not rated the car yet since it is very new. Still, Saab has a tradition of being one of the safest cars on the road. You can't imagine how many "I wouldn't be alive if I wasn't driving a Saab" posts I've seen in just a few years. Very, very safe cars. >And no-one in this group is talking >about the car. What gives? Eh, like I said, sedate. Plus, they are very new. There was a bit of discussion of the style when only the spy photos were making the rounds. Some folks like them, some traditionalists (people still driving classic pre-94 900's) don't. I think it's a nice evolution myself. There's also been some discussion of engine changes, although most of it is buried in other threads. If you have any specific questions, please ask. There's lots of info available via the knowledgable folks here. Cheers, Bob
