Subject: Front Engine Mount

Bl**dy hell, that vibration between 50 and 60 MPH is still on the car despite refreshing the grommets and pipe that I cable-tide on before, which seemed to resolve the problem. [I posted this some time ago on alt.autos.saab as "Violent Vibration at 50-60 MPH".] I have had the drive shafts replaced with new within the last year and the wheels are balance and aligned. The front tyres are the same manufacturer with even tread. They are not rotational tyres. The vibration is not so violent as it was, more of a kind of judder and only noticeable on acceleration, with (less so) and without (more so) turbo. I have read some information about the front engine mount causing a vibration, which can strike almost anywhere between 40 and 70 MPH. How do I check if it is bad? Is it an easy job to replace, or best entrusted to my garage? Any thoughts? TIA. Paul 1989 900 Turbo S http://saab.go.dyndns.org/
