I have a 2003 9-3 and live in Colorado and its great in the snow. I don't have the sport package but have kept the regular tires that come with the car. It's as good as my Ford Explorer in the snow if not better. I have it since November 2002 so I've driven it in every snow storm we have had and have had no problems what so ever.
