I had a close encounter with a Dodge Durango in a parking lot the other day, which resulted in my inside right tail light lens being shattered (just the reversing light portion). I've found a place where I can buy a replacement for about $40, but am unsure about how to actually do the job. It looks as if I'll have to take off a substantial amount of trim inside the tailgate to get at it, as there are no external fasteners that I can see. Is this a job for a reasonably handy amateur, or should I just take it to a body shop? "It" is a 2000 9-3.
