You are obviously not Jewish - I certainly would not want to drive or =
own a Saab SS.

In 1939 there was a Jaguar SS, this type designation did not survive WW =
II. In the '50s there was another type Jaguar SS XK, made only in a run =
of about 16 cars.

Where I am the combination SS (or SD) is not used on licence plates.

In 1972 there was a SAAB 99 SSE though, for the US market only, when the =
new 99 EMS was not yet available, see =
