Saab owners here in Sweden that have converted their engines to DI report much improved performance at high turbo pressures. The DI system is much better that the stone-age system using a distributor. Troubleshooting a DI system is much easier than troubleshooting the distributor system. Much less parts that can go wrong, just test with a new DI cartridge and see if the problem goes away. The cost of a DI cartridge (~$250) is lower than trying to diagnose and repair a faulty distributor based ignition system. Also, the reliability problem with the DI is not as big as some people believe it is. > What's wrong with your dissy anyway? Probably to hard to get reliable ignition at high turbo pressures. -- G–ran Larsson http://www.nospam.com/saab/
