I have no idea what the Dakotas are like, but the Midlands don't have many sheep - Wales & Lancashire does. Yorkshire has sheep and pigs. The Midlands have a lot of cities. > Personally - I can't figure out why both of your most excellent nations > were so stuck up about the metric system myself.. Well, I sure as sh*t ain't walking into my local to ask for a .45L of Best. [Roughly translates to "Goddam, you won't catch me walking into a bar and ask for a pint of (some pissy) beer."] > Now - kiss and make up before my one single refuge from the hordes of > ranters and flag wavers on all sides turn up and I have to give up on the > NG outright.. None of this is antagonistic; just culturally interesting. ... And they're not oily, they're greasy. Frying in oil is just awful - that's what lard is for. If I ever go to the US, I'll ask for some gas at the petrol station and refuse to pay when they fill the car up and not give me a can of butane for my cig lighter. Oh, and I'll insist on drinking tea and ask for "just a normal" coffee :) Paul
