Interestingly a "typical" SUV costs about $35k new. The Saab 9-5 Wagon and the Volvo V70 can be had with a decent amount of equipment for about the same price! I think the American public is talking themselves back to Wagons - just the rejection of wagons has been a path through Minivans then trucks (SUVs) and now these "crossovers" - next stop - wagons again!
