Subject: 9-3 Saab - LCD display

My leased 9-3 Turbo Saab is experiencing a problem with the LCD display - please excuse the non-technical description, but it seems to be leaking plasma or whatever the liquid is behind the display. By the LCD display, I mean the panel that shows date, time , temp, radio, etc. If you press on the display, the "leaked" area will kind of move around. Now I don't recall any obvious trauma that occurred to the display (ie, no accidents or objects flying into the panel, however, it does appear to have hairline cracks on the plastic portion of the panel and I am not the only driver (just the leaseholder!!) My car is still under warrenty - do you think that the dealer will repair this or will they claim that this is the user's fault. If so, does anyone have any idea what it would cost to replace this unit? Many thanks for your suggestions and comments, Diana
