One negative point I heard from a car reviewer (I can't remember which one) is that the engine doesn't have much power at the low end of the RPM band and you have to rev it up to really get it going. I guess that shouldn't be too much of a shock; that has been a characteristic of many sporty Japanese cars for decades. The other thing is that Saab may make changes to the Subaru engine (or have a different engine installed) to differentiate it from the WRX. The hatchback part sounds appealing. I wonder if it is truly a different body style from what is offered by Subaru, or just a rehash of what Subaru has labeled the WRX station-wagon.
