Subject: Leaky 9-5

Well, here's an odd one. The other day we had a bit of snowfall overnight, left about half an inch on the roof of my recently purchased 1999 9-5. When I was driving later as the weather warmed up, I noticed the fabric covering the driver side A-pillar was soaked through, enough that there was a regular drip running down onto my pant leg! Tried to wipe it off, soak it up with some napkins, but it just kept coming. Yeesh! It didn't seem to be leaking around the windshield, I am guessing it was melt-water running in somehow from the sunroof, but no moisture showed up anywhere except soaking through the A-pillar. Doesn't seem to happen in rainy weather either. Any suggestions what I should look for to correct this, before next winter snow season starts? Phil D BTW, if anyone in western New York state area is interested in a 1990 9000CD as a parts car, send an email. (Runs well, no brakes, got rust.) I'm in Batavia, 30 miles west of Rochester.
