Unless there is something wrong. There are several other factors at work here: Saab has discounted new cars by 4K at the end of most recent model years, affecting used pricing within a few months of "stabilization". When the prices at the top of the line drop, so do the prices further down the line. Also, Saab does not hike prices on a yearly basis like some other manufacturers. When the new model prices are constantly rising, the used prices tend to stay higher. With some makes, the "one year old" cars sell for as much as they did originally due to new prices rising. Lastly, while new car prices tend to be a close relation to the cost of building a vehicle, used car prices tend to fluctuate more with demand. Saabs are a bit of a "niche" car and the used demand is lower. Bob
