The passive belts are an annoyance when working, and an annoyance when
not working.  Just slide under it, but use both.

I looked into this when my '88 900T needed attention in this regard; lots
of headliner & trim parts would be needed to have it not look like a hack-job.
Wasn't worth the time, effort, and cost to me.
