Salutations: In my case (an 89 cd so I don't know if it's the same) the cable slipped off the triangulating pulley and jammed - I then screwed with it and totally messed up so now the window is permanently closed with a tiewrap holding in place on the runner.. Hit a real shop and see what they can do - I'm still researching getting the cable to feed out again so I can rethread.. Equally - it could be that the motor has come away from the mounts - in either case - pull of the door panel (carefully) and have a peak around.. You can usually push the window up as you run the motor and disconnect the switch entirely if the cable is the problem.. If the switch is the problem - you'll have to pick one up as anything broken in it will be a huge pain to replace.. This all assumes you've checked the harness and fuse - which should be in the Haynes manual - be glad to take your manual off your hands if you decide to get out of the brand after this happens to all your windows.. Sorry - just mentioning.. :) .. -- J Dexter - webmaster - http://www.dexterdyne.org/ all tunes - no cookies no subscription no weather no ads no news no phone in - RealAudio 8+ Required - all the Time Radio Free Dexterdyne Top Tune o'be-do-da-day Snoop Coolio Clinton - Atomic Dog http://www.dexterdyne.org/888/037.RAM nopsamt.ie wrote: > > This problem arose today on my 94,9000CS. 80,000miles > The Haynes guide says its a faulty switch .Any pointers would be much > appreciated > Peter C > -- > From the desktop of > Peter Conry
