I tried my aquamist system by plugging the ground wire to the battery (-), and I connected the purple ignition wire and power to the car battery (+). I then used a bicycle pump to put pressure into the pressure sensor in the system and as I did so, the pump turned on when I applied pressure. The problem is that it doesn't do anything except vibrate heavily and make lots of noise. It doesn't suck water from the tank. I have tried everything; Disconnected the hoses, they are ok. I also tried to suck on the outlet hose while the pump was running and blowing into the intake hose while running the pump but neither of the methods did anything. I was actually unable to get air in or out of the pump even while it was running. So could it be that the pump is stuck or something? Or, this I just thought of a few minutes ago; do I need to prime the pump with water, i.e. does it have to be full of water before it starts to work? Thanks. -John
