I just did a search and found 4 Classic 1991 to 1993 900s with manual transmissions in the Connecticut and New York area, one as low as $1,800. Take a look at the Classics because they have a different body style, with the most obvious advantage being the superior visibility from the driver's seat. The Classics also have a different engine layout and suspension, which has been given credit for its great handling in the snow. Drive both a Classic and a NG model and see what you think.
