>Well, It was The Best Damn Garage In Town. >Phil Brown I don't think he did "foreign" cars though. I know he had no use for Japanese cars. (I asked him.) Incredible man. When I was covering racing I had several chances to talk with him. He was almost completely deaf from all the years around the loud motors but could still talk just fine. I went to a PRI (Performance Racing Industry) show a couple of years ago and he decided at the last minute to give a question and answer session. 15 minutes after it was announced, the room was packed. Everyone from Saturday night bull ring racers to Ray Evernham and the top pro teams and he treated them all equally. Questions had to be written down for him but his answers and explanations were so clear and so understandable, and his knowledge was so vast, I spent a lot longer listening than I had planned. There is nothing about powering race cars he didn't know and no question he couldn't answer off the top of his head. lauraknopsamousergraphics.com http://www.madmousergraphics.com web design, print design, photography
