Subject: Two dismantling questions

1) How do I drop the lower dash on a C900 t16 Aero (with the lower centre console)? When on boost, I'm getting a hissing noise, and only making base boost. The only vacuum hoses I haven't replaced that go into the engine bay are the ones that go under the dash, and the hissing is coming through the left hand speaker grille (where the big fat hose goes under the fuse box, and through the body work under the dash). Guess I have another hose too replace. 2) The dreaded rust has been found. Inside the left hand inner wheel arch (behind the rear seats) it has rusted and split from the rubbber splash guard/seal, and up the seam betwen the outer and inner arch, about 8"-10" long, by about 4"across. That won't be too much of a problem to sort as I have a freindly welder who I have always used before. What is worse is, while poking around to see how bad it has rusted, I felt through to the outer body shell infront of the rear wheel, and have discovered that that has holed through behind the aero panel. So I might as well get that ground out and plated. So, bearing in mind that the aero fixing kits aren't available anymore, and I don't want to break off the rails, after undoing the two self tapping bolts underneath, how do I remove the panel? does it slide along sideways after the wheel has been removed to make clearance, does it just snap off from the body, or does it lift off from a lip vertically? Any advice on this apreciated. Cheers -- The poster formerly known as Skodapilot. http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
