Near the end of a 300 km (+/-200 mile) run this weekend, the engine wasn't as smooth as normal. At a stop light the idle was rough and kind of sputtering (not unlike a 2-cycle outboard motor in idle) that shakes along the exhaust right back to the tailpipe. Low-end power is very poor but once it's up to speed (3rd gear and higher) again, it seems better. It's a non- DI 2L turbo, 5-speed, with 235000 Km. No obvious loose hoses or cracks. No stalling, no coolant loss, and no unusual oil usage. I've replaced the distributor cap and rotor, the fuel filter. The air filter is OK, and I've regapped the plugs (which are the correct NGK BCP7EV). Any ideas what the problem(s) could be? Thanks.
