Subject: Re: 2003 9-3 Auto Stalling?

Old news, not to worry. This was a problem in the initial batch of 2003 9-3 Linears with the "launch package." It requires a simple software fix to the onboard computer and is done free by the dealer. The problem does not affect other 9-3 models, Arc or Vector, and all Linear models manufactured this year were updated from the factory. P.S., I noticed you also posted this query to the bulletin board at www.saabnet.com A search of old messages here or there would have turned up the answer in less time than it took to compose your post. It's a great car. Don't let your paranoia stop you from buying it.
