Fortunately I have 2 years warranty (2nd year cost me 450 EUR) so I have some time to get it fixed. > 1) if you have the manual climate control, that the heater box has been > replaced/repaired since new. I have a manual AC and the button broke off after only one week. The dealer replaced the box under warranty (they said it was the only way to fix it). Apparently the replacement has been improved so that the problem won't be repeated. You might want to buy one for "jsut > in case" purposes. I've been worrying about that. I doubt if my dealer will give me a spare just in case, so I guess I'm just waiting for it to fail while on holiday in Saab-unfriendly France, preferably. It's good to know these things, without the Internet I wouldn't have had a clue... I have an LPG conversion and I also had a problem with the LPG pump which started to fail intermittently giving intermittent problems while driving on LPG. After a 500 Euro pump replacement the car runs fine on LPG. And then there's an AC pump that is making too much noise (apparently the bearings), another 800 EUR fix I heard. Nice car, but I'm glad I got the extended warranty. ;-) X.
